Greater Cincinnati Water Works (GCWW) is concerned about the environment and the impact we have on it. This campaign was designed to inform customers about paperless billing, and to encourage them to sign up for paperless billing online so GCWW isn't wasting paper. I designed website sliders, bill messages, and posters to get the message out about paperless billing to as many people as possible.
Using branding guides, I ideated a couple different concepts that merged water, to represent the Water Works, and a leaf, to represent going green. One of the first concepts was a play on the yin and yang symbol but using a water droplet and leaf to show how they connect to one another. Another concept was using a leaf growing from a water droplet and essentially the droplet replacing the stem to show going green wouldn't be possible without water. This other concept I designed was placing a leaf inside a water droplet to show how water encompasses nature. I also tried using photos of nature and water, but doing this and just placing text on them weren't as interesting. The yin and yang concept was the most visually interesting.
